The grass is blue remarked the donkey, the tiger corrected him it is green. What do you know you are not a grass eater said the donkey? Well wild cats on rare occasions resort to consuming leaves and grass when their stomach is upset or when naturally ingest some grass when they eat their prey, moreover I surely learnt and observed the grass has always been green replied the tiger.
The donkey in an unruly manner kept arguing with the tiger voicing grass is blue attracting a crowd of more ignorant supporters, disrupting the jungle like peace. Many jealous of the tiger’s dominance had now something to protest against him leading to a social unrest calling for the Lion King’s intervention on the matter. The tiger in few words and orderly manner mentioned his stand to King Lion with documentation and evidence. The donkey in disagreement was only loud wanting to influence minds putting arguments with little reference to the subject trying to claim sympathy for being put under pressure, fear of being suppressed by the carnivorous breeds and being obstructed to freedom of expression in claiming grass is blue.
King lion kept observing the donkey’s body language, evaluated every word in his verbal representation and realized the donkey’s stupidity seems fascinating to it than intelligence. He broke his silence and said dear donkey you want to believe blue is the color of the grass feel free to do so. You are rewarded with a piece of land to grow blue grass and after six months your land will be examined any failure in doing so you shall face consequences. He then addressed the tiger and pronounced a punishment of being confined to an area for 7 days and exercise complete silence and dismissed the matter. The donkey on hearing there is no denial for his belief, being rewarded with a land and a punishment for the tiger not really knowing what all it meant happily shouted grass is blue and left with his supporters.
The tiger taken aback by the judgment approaches the lion saying you too are aware the grass is green so why punish me. The lion replied the matter here was nothing to do with knowing the truth about grass is blue or green, but about being right in some way. The punishment you are receiving is for you to realize it is degrading for a brave and intelligent animal like you arguing with an ass. The donkey only wanted to hurt you, criticize you and feel right in some way. You wasted your time arguing and wasted my time to evaluate what you already knew. Wherever ignorance is the master, ears only want to hear what they understand. It gets worse when ignorance has arrogance as company. False knowledge fake claims spread easy. Don’t we see in the human kingdom they use many platforms blindly sharing/forwarding messages/information what they themselves do not know is true or false, but act like the ass taking pride in overcoming others intelligence. In the animal kingdom we understand intelligence has its limitations but those who have it must surely know how to use it. We have to learn to distinguish who deserves an explanation, who deserves only one answer and who deserves absolutely nothing. The donkey had stopped searching for information and self-knowledge he didn’t care about truth or reality but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions.
Those in ignorance who scream, they are rejecting something they do not know about… be not the ass in ignorance but let intelligence prevail upon you.
